Considerations: This is a part time unpaid volunteer internship that works from our Park City, UT office.

Learning Opportunities: Sundance Institute is looking for talented individuals who want to increase their skills in graphic design. Our Graphic Design Intern will be exposed and submerged into graphic design work, including understanding efficient workflows, developing images from conception to design production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creates signage designs, route for edits, and obtain design approvals.
  • Exports print ready files ensuring specs and standards are met.
  • Completes edits, revisions, and quality assurance as directed.
  • Assists with tracking projects sent to print while maintaining deadlines.
  • Participates in press checks as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Creativity and versatility skills in graphic design work.
  • Knowledge of layout design programs, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe CS5 platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Gmail, Google Drive and Calendar.
  • Excellent typography skills.
  • Able to juggle multiple projects in a fast paced environment.

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Degree or working towards a degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred.
  • Experience organizing and maintaining folder structures preferred.  
  • Self motivated, able to take initiative, organized, and detail oriented skills.
